3 Farmers Tasting Room Opens in Prosser, WA
New tasting room takes over old Willow Crest building in Vintners Village
If you remember the Tuscan-style building that housed Willow Crest Winery in Prosser’s Vintners Village, you’ll be glad to hear that it has a new tenant. On June 21st, Rob Valicoff of Valicoff Estates Wines, Paul Wollman of Roxboro Vineyard and Robert Smasne of Farm Boy/Farm Girl Wines opened a new tasting room in the building for their collaborative new venture called 3 Farmers Tasting Room.
Award winning wine maker Robert Smasne is the wine maker for all labels offered at the tasting room.
Both Valicoff Estates and Roxboro Vineyard wines are available to the public for tasting for the very first time with the opening of the tasting room. A selection of the wines that Smasne makes under the labels of Farm Boy/Farm Girl Wines can be found at the new 3 Farmers Tasting Room, and the full-line of Smasne wines can be found at County Line Tasting Room, which is located in the first building you come to in Vintners Village.
Currently there are nine Washington State wines on the tasting list at the new 3 Farmers Tasting Room. The price for tasting all nine wines is set at $10, and waived with a bottle purchase. Wine clubs are available separately for each winery.
The varieties you’ll find on the current tasting list are: Roxboro Vineyard’s 2017 Sauvignon Blanc, Farm Girl Wines’ 2017 Rose of Pinot Noir, Farm Girl Wines’ 2017 White Wine, Valicoff Estates 2018 Rose of Cabernet Sauvignon, Valicoff Estates 2016 Ivan de Isla Red Wine Blend, Farm Boy Wines’ 2014 Bunk House Red Wine, Roxboro Vineyard’s 2013 Merlot, Valicoff Estates 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon and Roxboro Vineyard’s 2013 Petit Verdot. The tasting menu changes periodically, so if you want to make sure which wines are included on the tasting menu on a specific day, simply call the tasting room at (509) 781-6233.
Current hours for 3 Farmers Tasting Room, which is located at 590 Merlot Drive, Prosser, WA., are Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
