Artist’s rendering of DeLille Cellars new tasting room at Hollywood Station captures the ambiance of the three-story structure as seen by guests from the ground-floor entrance.

After many months of planning and construction, DeLille Cellars is celebrating the completion of its new tasting room and retail tower in the old Redhook Brewery building in Woodinville, WA.  Renamed Hollywood Station, the complex features private tasting rooms, a room dedicated to library wines, a third-story roof-top deck with views of Mt. Rainier and a mezzanine overlooking the wine-making facility and barrel room.

“This marks the first time since 1998 that we’ve had our winery and retail operations under one roof,” said CEO Tom Dugan, adding: “With the adjacent access to winemaking and a unique tasting room tower, we welcome wine club members and guests to share connections and experience our passion for Washington wine.”

“With our new home at Hollywood Station, we now have a space ideally suited to present our history and approach to winemaking,” said Jason Gorski, DeLille’s director of winemaking.  “It has been incredibly rewarding to repurpose the iconic Redhook Brewery building and I hope it will continue to be a hub for the local community and a beacon for wine lovers.”

All three levels of the new building offer predominantly seated tasting experiences for a variety of guests and group sizes, with the main level open to the public and the upper floors available to wine club members and their guests, in addition to space for corporate dinners and events after hours.

The new tasting room, which is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week, is located at 14300 N.E. 145th St., Woodinville, WA. 98072. Phone: (425) 489-0544. An online reservation system to reserve a classic wine tasting, group private tasting, food and wine pairing, library experience or wine club tastings can be accessed by visiting: www.delillecellars.com. A classic tasting consists of five wines in a seated experience for $25.

As for DeLille Cellars’ original Woodinville Carriage House tasting room, it will remain open through the Christmas/New Year’s holidays, but plans are to close it sometime in January, 2020.

In early 2020, Sparkman Cellars will be joining DeLille Cellars at the newly repurposed Hollywood Station. Sparkman’s winemaking operations, tasting room and event spaces will be located in the former brewery’s bottling hall. The new facility will include an intimate tasting room featuring multiple wine flights, a wine club room adjacent to the barrel room, a wrap-around outdoor patio with fire pits, a grand event hall with a vaulted ceiling, multiple private event spaces and an expanded production facility.

But you don’t have to wait until next year to taste Sparkman Cellars’ wine.  The winery’s current tasting room at 14473 Woodinville-Redmon Rd. N.E. in Woodinville is open daily from noon to 6 p.m., on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The third element on the new Hollywood Station campus is Teatro ZinZanni, which this year is celebrating 20 years of presenting cirque, comedy and cabaret performances in the Pacific Northwest.  Its relocation from downtown Seattle to Woodinville represents an exciting and busy chapter in the company’s history. The show currently running on Teatro ZinZanni’s Hollywood Station stage is called “A Night Like This,” a performance filled with classic elegance, show stopping entertainment and mouthwatering bites that will leave you speechless by the end of the evening.  Tickets for the show, which will run through Feb. 16, 2020, can be purchased on-line at: www.zinzanni.com or by calling (206) 802-0015.
