Mark Ryan Winery Announces Opening
of New Woodinville Tasting Room
Mark Ryan Winery, a renowned Washington producer that makes a limited production of sought-after wines has announced that it is opening a second tasting room in the heart of Woodinville Wine Country. The new tasting room will open on Saturday, Oct. 28 in the new building at the old Redhook Brewing headquarters at 14200 N.E. 145th St., Suite D.
“Within the last few years, Mark Ryan has grown to become the 14th largest winery in Washington State with new wine drinkers discovering us every day,” said owner Mark McNeilly. “Opening this tasting room gives us more space to offer our patrons and wine club members an unforgettable wine tasting experience, as well as support the Woodinville community as we spread the word about the world-class wine from Washington State.”
“This growth represents our dedication to both quality and community, McNeilly added. ”We like to say we are serious about winemaking, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously and we hope that mantra is carried through to the experience for our guests who come to visit.”
The new tasting room will showcase a full lineup of wines from Mark Ryan Winery, Pinot Noir from Megan Anne Cellars and Flowerhead Rosé from Lu & Oly. The new location has more than double the capacity of the original tasting room, including two outdoor seating areas and three tasting bars. The larger space will provide for a variety of elevated experiences.
Key highlights include expanded hours of operation: 11:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m. daily, a seamless reservation system, and Indoor and outdoor seating areas. Patrons can enjoy tastings in comfortable indoor spaces or surrounded by the picturesque Washington scenery outdoors. The second-story deck will provide ample heated and covered seating, including chairs, couches and tables for groups of up to six people. The interior includes three tasting bars, couches and chairs for comfortable seating, and larger tables with space for groups of up to 12 guests. Roll-up doors on the first floor open onto the patio, which will provide additional seasonal seating.
The additional space allows select library vintages to be made available for purchase by the bottle. The tasting room will open with two curated tasting flights for guests to explore — The Classic Tasting ($35, refundable with a $65 bottle purchase) — highlighting five current Mark Ryan releases and The Reserve Tasting ($45, refundable with a $75 bottle purchase) — highlighting premium red wines plus a rotating section from the library.
The original Woodinville tasting room, located at 14475 Woodinville-Redmond Rd. N.E., will close from October 28th through November 2rd while the space transitions to exclusively offer the Board Track Racer Collective — a trio of brands: Board Track Racer, NumbSkull and the Underground Wine Project. The tasting room will reopen on November 3rd with regular hours of operation: 11:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. daily. This location can host private events for groups of up to 100 guests daily from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
